Year-Round Programs for All Ages
Throughout the year, the Recreation, Arts & Culture Department offers a wide variety of programs and activities for youth, teens, adults, and seniors. Registration is available online through our convenient CivicRec portal or in person at Bal Harbour Waterfront Park.

Summer Program Lineup

We are excited to offer a special lineup of programs and activities for the Summer months. All programs are now available for viewing, and registration for residents begins Friday, May 29, at noon.
Toddler Programs
(Ages 3 Months – 5 Years)
Little chefs
Mix, scoop, stir, and explore! Little Chefs introduces toddlers to the basics of cooking through hands-on activities designed to build fine motor skills, independence, and confidence in the kitchen. Participants will practice using utensils, pouring, mixing, and simple food preparation while enjoying sensory-rich experiences and tasty creations.

Sensory Sprouts
Designed to nurture your little one’s early development through sensory exploration. Babies and toddlers will engage with a variety of stimulating textures and materials that encourage curiosity and discovery.

Tiny Tumblers
A movement-based class designed to support your baby’s early gross motor development in a playful environment through guided activities, assisted rolling, supported standing, climbing exploration, and soft obstacles.

360 Body Workout with Thais Duran
designed to strengthen and tone your entire body through full-range movement. This workout combines standing and floor exercises to target all major muscle groups, improve flexibility, and build core stability.

HIIT for Seniors with Thais Duran
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) for Seniors consists of periods of low-impact exercise performed in intervals combined with longer periods of rest.
HIIT is ideal for active people who would like to work out by combining exercises of different styles in a balanced and safe way. This class will progressively help you develop greater resistance and muscular strength.
